| Day 01 |
Upon your arrival in Costa Rica we will escort you to a select hotel in the historic district. |
| Day 02 (B,L, D) |
8:00 a.m. A minibus will pick us up it at the Hotel and will head for the county of Alajuela, canton of Naranjo, near San Carlos. In this community we will visit two beautiful Cooperative projects. In Coopenaranjo is the "Finca Espìritu Santo". This is a producer of coffee with many interesting attractions. The cooperative is oriented toward conservation of our natural resources. You will tour the coffee plantation and learn the coffee harvesting process. You will be able to see the different varieties of coffee that are offered by the Cooperative, which is mainly exported to Europe. We will visit the plant where you will see the coffee production process. Next we'll travel to the Community of Zarcero, to the project of Coopebrisas, where cheese is produced for the national and international markets. Their most popular product is the "palmito" cheese, while they also produce agriculture to help the local community. After lunch we will visit a picturesque park and the local church which represent a true picture of the rural areas of our country. Next we travel to Fortuna, where we will stay near the Arenal Volcáno. "La Fortuna" is a picturesque town, where tourism has become a thriving industry. |
| Day 03. (B,L,D) |
In the morning we will tour the Parque Volcán Arenal, to appreciate the "Colossus" which is Costa Rica's highest volcano In the afternoon we leave la Fortuna, heading to Caño Negro. During the trip we will be able to view the different crops characteristic of the area. This tour will take you on a guided boat tour on the Río Frio which is located within 2.5 miles of Nicaragua. The "Refugio de Vida Silvestre Caño Negro" has one of the most diverse flora and fauna collections in Costa Rica. By evening we will be returning to La Fortuna |
| Day 04 (B,L,D) |
| We will visit the community of Monteverde, where we'll either cross over lake Arenal or circle it by ground to get to one of the local lodges in the area. During the afternoon a Canopy Tour will be available in which you will be able to observe the tree tops and the local vegetation of this region. You'll glide from platforms on strong cables, with instructions from experienced guides, making this trip a very memorable experience. The duration of the canopy tour is approximately 2 to 3 hours. |
| Day 05 (B,L,D) |
| We will get up very early to have a nature day visiting the Reservation Santa Elena, near the Arenal Volcano. In this preserve there exist smore than 300 species of birds, 2,550 species of plants, and 100 different types of animals.

After an early breakfast, we will be heading for the Pampa Guanacasteca. We will stay in a beach hotel where you will have the opportunity to acquire a spectacular suntan to show off in your country, |
| Day 07 (B,L,D) |
After enjoying the sun and beach, we'll have lunch, then prepare to return to San José. In the historical community of Santa Cruz you will be able to buy traditional crafts called Guatil. After this tour we will ruturn to San José |

After a beautiful journey through the north Pacific area of Costa Rica, we will say goodbye to you at the airport, hoping you will return soon to learn more of our country.
