First Stage-Rancho Los Laureles
At this stage our tour-guide welcomes visitors with the flavor of a fresh,“Golden pineapple” the newest and sweetest variety of pineapple. Next, visitors can walk through an exhibition area ato see the evolution of the crop from the planting stage to the point where the fruit is ready to be harvested, an average of 420 days later!Second Stage-Mirador El Guacimo
During the second stage visitors are guided to a sightseeing spot called“ Mirador El Guacimo”. Here tourists have the opportunity to view the magnificent plantation, learn about pineapple history and enjoy a beautiful hummingbird garden next to the Cimarrones River.
Third Stage-Fresh Fruit Plant
At this next stop, tourists will enter a dynamic packaging plant to see the different steps required to export first quality pineapples: receipt, hand selection, washing, waxing, crown fumigation, packing, palletizing, and the freezing rooms.
Fourth Stage-Dehydration Processing Plant
Some of the fruits are sent on to an additional process, where the fruit is sliced and dehydrated for 24 hours. The brand of the final product, “Todo Natural” (All Natural), describes perfectly what it is because no artificial ingredients are added. Come, witness the entire process and try it!
