Orosí Valley and Lankester Gardens
(One Day)
After our visit to the Basílica de los Ángeles we will continue to Lankester Gardens, the center of research of the University of Costa Rica that protects more than 800 species of orchids and bromeliads in addition to various other plants.
Afterward we will continue to the Orosi Valley where it is possible to visit one of the few colonial temples that are still in use. The Orosi Valley is also where we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious lunch. On the way back we will have the possibility of seeing the rustic Casa del Soñador, well known for the rustic Costa Rican art.
Suggested equipment: Hat, light jacket, comfortable walking shoes, insect repellent, binoculars and camera.
