Today you will have an exciting day White Water Rafting at the Sarapiquí River. Meals and lodging included at La Quinta.

• At Rio Danta Restaurant you will meet with a private van that will take you an hour into the back country where we'll take a boat to the Mawamba lodge in Tortuguero
• On the way we'll pass through a Banana Plantation, stopping to see the processing and packaging plant .
• Transfer by boat through 25 miles of canals of Tortuguero to get to the beautiful Mawamba Lodge. Lunch and Dinner are included.

• After an early breakfast you'll leave Tortuguero by boat for Siquirres. From Siquirres we will travel to Almonds & Corals Lodge Tented Camp on the southern part of the Caribbean coast, deep in the Gandoca.-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge. All meals are included.

• After a traditional native breakfast in the middle of the jungle we'll head out to visit the Nature Park. You will see collections of medicinal plants, poisonous species of frogs, and a butterfly garden. We'll also visit an indigenous Bribri village where you'll learn of ancestral secrets passed down through the ages. Toucans, howler monkeys, sloths, and hawks are among the many species you're likely to see.

• After breakfast, the morning is free until we transfer back to San José.
